I’m thrilled to note that I will be eligible for the Campbell Award for the next two years, starting this awards season 2014.
In 2013, I sold three professional stories:
- “The Wanderers” to Clarkesworld (February 2013)
- “The Siren” to Strange Horizons (April 2013)
- “An Exodus of Wings” to Daily Science Fiction (May 2013)
I also sold several stories to semipro markets, as well as a couple of poems. For more of my stories & poetry, click here.
Who can nominate for the Campbell? WorldCon attendees of 2013, 2014, or 2015. So if you attended LoneStarCon in 2013, are attending LonCon this year in 2014, or are signed up to attend Sasquan in Spokane, Washington in 2015, you have the ability to nominate for the Campbell. So if you like my work, and think that I show promise as a new writer, please consider nominating me.
There are many other worthy writers eligible for nomination this year; in the next two weeks I’ll be doing a series on Short Story Review featuring many of them, but for now here are three of my personal favorites:
